They say that bad things happen to good people, but this band is proof that good things can happen to bad people, like vocalist Big Ugly Jim. Much is known of his childhood, and is the subject of the critically acclaimed documentary Jimmy and the Traumasaurus. Somehow, he slipped under the radar.

Surviving as a florist and mercenary for hire, Big Ugly would eventually surface in Calgary, transparently posing as a college professor. Some of his students began coming home harbouring sick ideas about our modern day world. Though he was driven from his assumed profession, the damage was done and he began to amass an army of the damned and the damaged. He called that army Johnny Incognito.
